This was our second time purchasing furniture from Bassett and once again, we were thoroughly impressed with the customer service and selection. We loved our interior designer, Donna, who worked with us from start to finish! She and design manager Kim even came to our home to measure, take photos and present a layout for our new livingroom. We love supporting products made in America. The solid-wood pieces we purchased last year will last for generations. * I would encourage anyone looking for furniture to ask the about sales promotions, design services and things that may be available but not on the showroom floor. I found it helpful to visit the showroom numerous times as I continued to see beautiful art and accent pieces I hadn't noticed before. Thank you Donna and Bassett Furniture!

Kim in the San Marcos store is an absolute amazing designer! I can’t say enough good things about her eye for color, design, and vision!

Awesome chairs, Signature series Stressless is so comfortable. Looks fantastic, immediate relief when you sit in chair. Quality, workmanship, exquisite. Our couch on order, can't wait for it to arrive. Working with Basset was a pleasure. Our associate, Zara, very knowledgeable and super nice.

We have purchase furniture from this store in the past and are very pleased with the quality and service. We again visited the store last weekend to shop for a mattress. we were impressed with Kaitlyn's customer service and knowledge of the Beautyrest line. She was very patient with us as my wife tried all the different models. We shopped other big box stores, and came back to Kaitlyn to make our purchase.

This was our first experience with Bassett and we were very impressed with the service. Donna was a wonderful sales person -very knowledgeable, listened to our needs, and left us space to make our decision. She was a pleasure to work with. We just bought a home and needed some furniture. Donna Johansen helped us find the perfect sofa for our new home. She provided expert advice, helped us coordinate our color scheme and made sure our sofa was a good fit for our room. Most importantly, Donna gave us the time and respect we needed to make decisions about our purchases. We walked away feeling very happy and satisfied. There was never any pressure to buy. Zara was extremely friendly without the feeling of pressure . She was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. We planned to just pop in and do a quick walk through but she lead us through the process and we ended up with our perfect couch!

Do not purchase this carpet TURIN CHAMPAGNE DTC
A beautiful rug but a nightmare to maintain and you cannot clean it without damaging it.
We purchased this rug and where told that it was a wool rug and given instructions on how to care for a wool rug. It is in fact a Wool / Viscose blend. Viscose is in fact a treated wood pulp. We have a small dog who did tickle on the carpet. We called Basset to find out how to clean it and they instructed us use a cleaner that was safe for a wool carpet they suggested Woolite carpet cleaner. When we tried to clean it with the Woolite it left a yellow stain. That is when I discovered that VISCOSE cannot be easily cleaned, if you use water or any chemicals on it turns yellow and stains. Long story short is that we paid $2000.00 for a carpet that is now 2 years old and ruined. Basset did say they were sorry.

Donna was so informative and helpful. She addressed our needs and went over and beyond to help us with the purchase of not one but two couches.
Delivery was on time and they did everything I asked them to do as far as setting up the couches. Polite and respectful.

We had a great experience today at Bassett! We had a designer- Jacquie come out to measure and then she presented ideas for our living room. Great design ideas, I wouldn’t have thought of. We did purchase the sofa and hope to slowly add pieces over time! Really wonderful experience, highly recommend!

We frequently shop at Bassett and have loved the furniture and service! We just purchased a sectional couch for over $6000 and one of the pieces was damaged during shipping.
I called, they gave me a 3 hour window for a technician to come out. He looked at the couch and said "this is fixable." Now you ask... what does that mean?
Now Bassett wants to take the piece and repair it. We do not get a new piece, we loose a piece of our couch for an unknown period of time without a replacement. Basically, we have purchased damaged goods at full price. Oh, and even better, I have to take off a half day of work to be present during a 3 hour window so that Bassett can pick up my new damaged couch and repair it and then another half day to get it back.
Make sure to inquire before you purchase!!!!!! Better yet, save yourself money and time, go somewhere else. I have never heard of such a horrible policy. I get no refund, in fact I loose money because I have to take off work and I'm still left with damaged goods.

I shopped all over San Diego and the web for new family room furniture and I mean everywhere. Finally remembered we had purchased our dining room furniture that we love from Basset.
The people at the San Marcos store were the best, especially Brianna our sales person. She was polite, patient, knowledgeable and professional and most important she listened. The selection is amazing.
The quality of the two love seats and the leather recliner we purchased is the best. Everything she suggested is perfect. Don't waste time furniture shopping....go to Basset San Marcos and ask for Brianna.
