BASSETT SAN DIEGO – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE SALE

IMPORTANT: When you select the checkbox provided in the online checkout and click the “submit order” button, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of your online purchase and the limitations of Bassett San Diego’s warranty:

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS*

Custom Items: Some products require special ordering from manufacturers in colors and finishes our customers choose themselves. Due to the very specific and special-order nature of these products we are unable to accept exchanges or cancellations for these items. It is very important to double check the size and colors needed prior to ordering. If color is very important to your order, we highly recommend ordering samples prior to placing your order. Bassett San Diego does not accept cancellations on any custom ordered product after 24 hours of the order being placed. Bassett San Diego does not accept returns on any custom-ordered product.

Non-Custom Items: For any non-custom items, Bassett San Diego will accept cancellation for a full refund if the item has not been shipped from the main distribution center. If the item has been shipped from the main distribution center, the following cancellation policy and procedures must be followed: any cancellations or returns of non-custom (in stock item) products require a 15% re-stocking fee. This fee is 15% of the total sale price of the merchandise, excluding taxes. Delivery fees are non-refundable and additional pickup fees will apply. Non-custom rugs can be returned with a 15% restocking fee.

Clearance: Clearance items cannot be canceled. Clearance items are final sale and may not be returned. Quantities are limited and no price adjustments will be made on prior sales.

Exchanges: You may not exchange custom or clearance products. Exchanges of in stock items for other in stock items are allowed. Additional pickup/delivery fees will apply.

SCHEDULING DELIVERY

Once your pieces are available, your local team will call to schedule delivery. One to two days beforehand, you’ll be given a delivery window for when you can expect your furniture. Due to complicated delivery schedules, Bassett San Diego is not able to guarantee a specific delivery time and is only able to accommodate rescheduling of delivery with 48 hours advanced notice.

IN-STORE PICKUPS

If local pick up is available and you have elected to pick-up your pieces in-store, for safety reasons, store staff will not be able to load or secure furniture in your vehicle – please bring any necessary support. Some items may require customer assembly and pickup times are Mon-Fri, 10am to 4pm.

PREPARATION

Before ordering, measure all doorways, stairwells, hallways, ceilings, entryways, and landings to ensure that your furniture will fit into your room, as all custom furniture is non-returnable.

All old furniture should be removed prior to delivery and a pathway should be cleared through your home to the room in which the furniture will be placed.

Communicate to your team if you have challenging roads, driveways or other access points that would be difficult for our trucks to access.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Curbside: Curbside delivery service provides delivery of your item(s) to the curb at the end of your driveway. This service does not include set up or assembly of items or removal of packaging materials.

White Glove: Our professionally trained delivery team will unwrap, place, and assemble your new furniture in the appropriate room, with the exception of cribs (which are delivered boxed and require customer assembly). Our team cannot rearrange or remove existing furniture, connect or disconnect electrical equipment, or hang mirrors or wall art.

INSPECTION

Please immediately inspect your furniture and share any concerns you may have with your delivery team or customer service. You must make any claims for damage, shortage or errors at time of receipt. If no claim is made at this time, furniture will be considered fully accepted. Bassett reserves the right to inspect, repair or replace any merchandise at its discretion.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

All of our products have a “no hassle” guarantee. That means any product purchased from Bassett San Diego has the full support of each manufacturer and their associated product warranties. We are an authorized dealer for each of our manufacturers’ products and in most cases have had long term relationships with them. Our suppliers value our business and work with us on your behalf to satisfy any warranty claims should they ever arise.
